Elaine & Mike's watery day

Elaine & Mike had a host of outdoor activites planned for their big day at the end of June, including the bouncy castle. Unfortunately the rain set in early and came down almost continuously, even during the firework display late at night. The party went on though, with the adults dancing indoors and the children playing on despite the weather.

Davina & David at Knebworth

Davina & David were married at the parish church in Knebworth then had their photos taken within the grounds of Knebworth House. Davina's parents hosted the evening reception in marquee at their farmhouse with Davina's father driving his tractor around making last minute adjustments adding to the country atmosphere.

Christina, Darren & Joel at The Old Mill, Aldermaston

Chrissy & Darren spent their day at the Old Mill where their marriage was followed by a naming ceremony for their son Joel. A truly wonderful and emotional day for all concerned.

Tamara & Ray at Highfield Park, Heckfield

Our second visit to Highfield Park this year confirms it as one of our favourite venues. Great scenery and facilities, rooms for civil ceremonies and with Heckfield Church in the grounds it is a wonderful venue for a church wedding with a 2 minute walk to the reception. Tamara & Ray had a fabulous day with a short spell of rain only adding to the memories.

Sarah & Sean at the Mill House Hotel

Sarah & Sean had a civil ceremony and reception at the Mill House Hotel in Swallowfield. Leading up to the day Sarah broke her toe and her daughter suffered a bad break of an arm while falling out of a tree so the omens were not looking good...
On the day everything went well, a short pause for rain and then everyone piled into the garden and marquee at the Mill House for the reception banquet.

Madeleine & Riccardo at Wentworth

Madeleine & Riccardo were married at their parish church in Aldershot and everyone then travelled up the A30 to Wentworth Golf Club for a spendid reception. The relaxed shots of the loving couple in the evening sun were really popular and completely different to the traditional formal shots taken in the afternoon.

Genny & Nick at Trunkwell Mansion

Genny wanted to have her wedding in the country and so we had to find some cows to be part of the day. The weather forecast was really bad but on the day the sun shone and everyone had a great time in the large marquee and grounds of Trunkwell Mansion.

Debbie & Gareth at Savill Court

Debbie & Gareth picked a great day for their wedding at St Mary's, Bedfont and the reception at the newly refurbished Savill Court hotel in Egham. Between the main and dessert courses we took the happy couple out into the evening sunshine to capture these special moments.

Zoe & Lukan at Highfield Park

Highfield Park, Heckfield, Hampshire is a great location for a wedding and Zoe & Lukan made the best of it on their special day. We got some great shots of the location and the happy couple having fun in the evening sunlight.

Another very happy couple

Sarah & Luke came over on Saturday to pick up their albums and they were delighted with them! So much so that Sarah just sent in a very nice Thank You note which we'll add to our testimonials page.

"Hi Adam and Jan,

I just wanted to say a huge huge thank you for producing such a FANTASTIC wedding album for myself and Luke. It exceeded all of our expecations, it really is out of this world !

You put so much effort into making our day a success and thanks to this. we will be able to re-live our wedding in years to come. On the day you were so professional, yet discreet and we didnt even notice you were there, yet you sill managed to capture every special moment on the day ! !

We would thoroughly recommend you to anyone looking for a wedding photographer........... the wedding albums you have produced are the best we have seen...................and believe me we saw quite a few whilst doing our homework for the wedding ! !

Thank you so much for all your hard work, nothing was too much trouble for you both and we cant thank you enough !

We look forward to seeing you in December for my Sisters wedding ! !

Kindest Regards

Sarah and Luke"

How's Charlotte?

A number of people have been asking after Charlotte after her first appearence in the blog wearing her Halloween outfit. Well she's now nearly 7 months old and growing every day. She has a wonderful smile which she wakes up with every morning and we think she's gorgeous - but then we maybe a little biased!

Lunar Eclipse

Last Saturday night there was a lunar eclipse (when the Earth gets between the Sun and the Moon - causing the moon to disappear into the Earth's shadow). Below is a sample image from the night as the Earth's shadow crosses the Moon's surface.

Bit of a rainy day at Great Fosters

Katie & Jonny had a little rain for their wedding at Great Fosters near Egham. Enough to add a little atmosphere but not to spoil the event as we were able to get some great pictures between the showers.

We're back at Great Fosters a couple more times later on this year so hopefully we'll be able to make better use of the grounds in the summer.

Now that's a limo!

Louise & Billy turned up for their wedding at Guildford Registry Office in his and her limos. There was room for quite a party in each of them!

Early season wedding in Wokingham

The sun came up in style for Jo & Phil's wedding in Wokingham - clear blue skies more suited to the middle of summer than this early in the season. The reception was held at Easthampstead Park, one of our favourite local venues.
